Tadalafil
Tadalafil is a common treatment prescribed for erectile dysfunction. It works by improving the body’s blood flow to the penis during sexual arousal, making it easier to maintain and achieve an erection.
Tadalafil is the generic version of a popular ED medication, Cialis. It is a drug that helps improve the flow of blood to the penis during sexual activity, resulting in men achieving a firmer and longer-lasting erection.
There are risks of possible side effects when taking Tadalafil, as with any medication. Most side effects are quite mild and subside over time. Others can be more serious and, in this stance, should be reported to your GP right away when using sildenafil. Common side effects can include:
· Diarrhoea
· Dizziness
· Headaches
· Nausea
· Nose bleeds

· Upset stomach
· Insomnia
These are more serious side effects. Consult your GP if you experience the following when you take tadalafil and go to A&E if your symptoms are severe:
Serious Side effects
· Symptoms of low blood pressure including confusion, light-headedness, fatigue, weakness, nausea, fainting
· Dizziness
· Shortness of breath
· Sudden hearing loss or ringing in the ear
· Sudden loss of vision in one or both eyes
· An erection that will not go away after 4 hours after taking sildenafil
How do you take Tadalafil?
A single dose should be taken 30-45 minutes before engaging in any sexual interaction. It is important not to take more than 1 Tadalafil in a 24 hour period. if you take tadalafil with high intakes of alcohol there is a chance it may not work. It is advised tadalafil is taken on an empty stomach to be more effective
How long does it take Tadalafil to work?
Tadalafil usually works between 30-45mins after taking one tablet but the effects can last up to 36 hours, which is much longer than Sildenafil(Viagra). This doesn’t mean you will have an erection for the duration of this time.
How often can I take Tadalafil?
It is not recommended to take more than one erectile dysfunction medication in 24 hours.
