Differin gel 0.1% is a topical acne treatment that is applied directly onto the skin. It contains the active ingredient adapalene, a retinoid treatment which as well as having an anti-inflammatory effect, also reduces the number of blackheads, spots, and acne breakouts. It also helps treat acne by promoting healing within the skin to reduce scarring and swelling. This treatment is a great alternative for people who don't want to or can't, take oral antibiotics to treat acne.
